After 35 years away from the stage—since my early days competing in bodybuilding—I decided it was time to challenge myself again in a totally new way. Stepping into the Figure division meant learning a different style, including mastering those 5-inch heels, but once I got up there, it felt like coming home.
I rediscovered how much I love performing, pushing my limits, and showing what strength and longevity really look like. I won 1st place in a local national qualifier, then went on to compete in the USA Masters—standing next to women ten years younger—and proudly placed 4th.
"This comeback wasn’t about proving anything to anyone else… it was about proving to myself that passion doesn’t expire, and neither does the drive to evolve."
At 62, I wanted to show myself—and everyone watching—that when you take care of your body throughout your life, age truly is just a number. With determination, discipline, and pure drive, you can accomplish anything you set your mind to. My goal was to inspire, motivate, and remind people that it’s never too late to rise to a new challenge.

RETURNING TO THE STAGE
Defying Expectations
At 62, the world expects you to slow down. Instead, I chose to speed up. Stepping back on stage wasn't just about physique; it was a declaration that vitality and ambition have no age limit.
A New Chapter
Competing against women decades younger, I found my strength again. This journey proved that with discipline and passion, you can reinvent yourself and achieve excellence at any stage of life.
